Hello Readers,
Acquired an 218 today, and connected replacing the MS600 inside my MC200 - MS600 - 568 setup.
Using Digital Aux Out into the processor. Network connection for Sooloos.
Weird enough DTS-CD did not seem to play correctly anymore (hear the bitstream noise), both MC200/MS600 through digital handle these fine and play DTS 5.1.
Anybody experienced/tested the same, and with same results?
Or did I do something wrong in the config, I did not find any parameter related to this.

Turn MHR off on the 218. The 568.1 will not take MHR in on a coax RCA input.

Unfortunately does not help, still static. I tried this also as one of the first actions.
Digital rate, just changes PCM 44k to 88k, also no help.
Software version v1.0 build 185.
Other thoughts?

Are your front (left and right) speakers connected to the 568 or the 218?
Main: G61SL, 218, HD621, 2*7200SE, 7200HCSE, M6s, DSW, Apple TV 4K, NUC (Roon server)

Left and right speakers are connected to my 568 indeed.
I've tried yesterday evening with another amp (Denon) and same issue.

a total guess with out time to research ..
Is there an option to have the 218 volume set to full? If so please test.

There is analog volume "variable" setting as opposed to fixed indeed. Already tried both cases, same result.
In anybody able to test this on their equipment? Or am I the only one having this problem?
I am not sure if the firmware support it currently? Could be a "bug" if I am not alone.

![[Linked Image]](https://www.meridianunplugged.com/ubbthreads/gallery/16/full/2515.png) I haven't seen the unit nor looked at any settings info, but, if there is a 1x vs 2x setting like you see on MS200 (for example) then you should set to direct to preserve the native rate. Or try 1x. If 2x then it is upsampling everything and mucking up the DTS code. Is there any such setting ?

Yes, there is as well.
In fact the screen looks very similar.
Direct option is missing on this device.
Also tried 1x or 2x, does not make a difference.
Here you can see also the Analogue Variable & Fixed settings talked about as well. Both combinations also don't work.
In fact having 2x or any combination on my MS600 or MC200 works fine. But I tried them all to be sure.
