I listened to the Karajan Mozart Requiem this morning. Much better than the CD. There's a soundstage now, and you can even hear what's going on in the bass section rather than just a vague bloom.

Detail and imaging on MQA version of The Moody Blues Days Of Future Past had me checking to make sure I wasn't inadvertently listening through my 861 in a surround sound mode. Sound was all around me. But I was indeed listenig through my 818. Jethro Tull Songs From the Wood is now very listenable as well.

EDIT:
So I found the Mozart Requiem and the Solti Walkure but not the 'usual' way of searching by artist name in Tidal Desktop App, I had to search for the album using key words. Seems unlike Warner, Universal titles are not being pushed to the top of the Albums list when released and searched for under Artists' names.
I cant find the Richter Rach 2 - and many others, what keywords are you guys using ?
Thanks /bt
Hi Guys
Thanks for the significant news ! Unfortunately over here in Singapore, I so far cant find any of the MQA albums mentioned - such as Sinatra, Mravinsky or Karajan. Im accessing through Tidal App (Desktop) and Sooloos (Tidal search). Can anyone suggest an alternative route ?
Many thanks /bt

Halfway through and I was struck deeply by the unison string playing, the tone is so beautiful, sinewy and deep. And the trombone solo in the Rex Tremendae. MQA seems to bring out more emotion from the solo than I remember.

Yes, exactly this. I was able to hear the CD version (ripped to Roon) and the MQA back to back and it was particularly the emotion in the voices, even in the massed choral sections, which really shone through more in the MQA. Quite remarkable.

Don't know whether it's been mentioned already but some Bryan Adams albums are now available on Tidal Masters.

There is so much suddenly available one inevitably goes to favourites, and as Nick pointed out there is amazing Jazz out there that I can appreciate, but is lower down my list. Bryan Adams lost to others in the scramble to share. Sounds like you are enjoying it!
I have discovered that Don McClean's 'American Pie' is now up and sounding so fresh, but what has blown me away today?
Minnie Riperton 'Loving You' and the Moodies as above....it really feels like you are listening to the actual performance and not a recording. Stunning!
BTW, Mr McClean is now sounding so good you can see why he sold records and inspired Roberta Flack. Still 'Cracklin' Rosie' also pretty astonishing...it's that pulse of live music that MQA gives us!
I could go on...
Have a great weekend!

Wow. A very bad day for the MQA naysayers!
Pure McCartney sounds great, but everything is 44k.MQA which is a bit of a con.

I know most of these are already available as Hi Res downloads, and the labels will decide what else they remaster, it is impressive that all this is now there just over 8 months since the announcement. Hopefully, Sony will follow soon to fill some gaps.
But for vaporware, this is substantial.
(Am listening to 'Band on the Run' from Pure McCartney, which whilst not jaw dropping, does sound the best I have heard it...'Handbags and Gladrags' from 'Old Raincoat' has that immediacy and bristling life that 192k MQA provides).
