I am equally impressed with the 502 and G02 preamps that were standing in for my Mcintosh while it was being serviced. In the end I prefer a touch of tubes with my 808.6 and transistors with my TTs so with my Mcintosh I will stick. IMO Meridian doesn't get the recognition they deserve here in the US. No comment.
