I also experienced a dem with Kii/Nadac combination. I agree with Russ they probably need a good run in period, however more importantly they need a lot of space, not so good close to room boundaries due to rear bass firing.
With this in mind the cost of the bespoke stands has to be considered.

I believe M DSP products are more flexible with respect to customer constraints with regard to positioning.
