I agree, so... what's the mystery? I did the same config and it looks clear.
I think the only missing thing is the "closing of the chain". I used a SpeakerLink cable from the master front left (5200SE) to the processor (G68) in a slave SpeakerLink port.
Other suggestion?

Well, having looked as well as I can around the Roon Partner offerings, I can't find anything to compete with the functionality and sound quality of this (outside a Meridian DSP system) near its price-point. Clearly, there are superior products with superior functionality and connectivity (much of which I don't need), but there's a price to be paid for that. I may just have to buy another.
