A few weeks back at the point when I had added a few MQA albums off Tidal into my library of favourites, I decided I would superimpose on the Album Artwork covers a visible flag showing which 'recording's were MQA.
A bit like this

Last night I was playing on my iPad a few MQA albums & Tracks from my library. When eventually Roberta Flack came to the top of the queue, nothing happened, no sound nor indication that the album was actually playing.
After a while I decided to try manually re-selecting the album via the Tidal album search feature. That (masters) selection then came to life, BUT playing at 96K (on my SE speaker display), rather than the 192K I had anticipated.
I then tried another MQA 192K album from my library, Billie Joe + Norah, Foreverly. (btw beautiful production & harmonies, great showpiece for MQA).
That worked fine, 192K indeed showed on my speaker display.
So my three questions are,
1. Any idea why my previously well played 192K Roberta album should no longer stream at all?
2. Is it possible that in the last couple of weeks Tidal replaced the album 'recording' with a 96K version?
3. Or was I just dreaming and it always originally was 96K?
