I'm slightly worried that M can't surpass the digital performance of the MS600 given the number of years between the design of the two. Meridian literature and comment has *always* been ambiguous when it comes to analogue or digital performance from the same box.

Hmm, the User Guide has some interesting little tidbits, suggesting this is much closer to the 562 than the AC200:
- analogue input sensitivity adjustment
- control of axis (which could only be changed via a convoluted mechanism with AC200)
I'm starting to imagine a little project to tie a Griffin Powermate to the IP automation API instead of waiting for the AC200 replacement...

How do the 12 inputs of the set up page link to the source buttons of an MSR+?
Are they 1:1?

DSP5200SEs.
One customers reaction, words; "No Brainer - The 818v3 still holds its head high for my digital music".
"The 218 is extremely capable, but doesn't quite have the expansive or engaging sound, but for £750 - Wow"

Anyone having problems maintaining a connection with the IP Control app? Mine is showing losing connection, then almost immediately showing up to be chosen again every 25 seconds or so. Roon is keeping hold of the 218 ok and playing fine. It's just the IPC app. Actually it does the same if I don't choose to connect - disappears from the list then reappears.
