The Australian distributor says their shipment arrived this week.
No reports of anyone eyeballing (or earballing?) one yet.

I know someone who has seen and heard a production one. That was several weeks ago.
When I spoke with my PP earlier this week, they were still awaiting stock.
Meridian owner since 1992

Hmmm, interesting - I 'get' the logistics side of early shipment to Oz - which also suggests the hardware's signed-off (which it should be at this stage!), but no distributors or Premium Partners have received stock in the UK...?!  I think we should be told...

The distributor has received them but no one in OZ has one yet? That seems odd.

Latest update is there are number of 218 which have been built, that are waiting for a final firmware release before being shipped to Dealers.
I don't know about the Australian distributor, but my guess is that they will update the firmware before shipping to Australian dealers.

Extraordinary, how not to release a new product, must be a little embarrassing for HQ.
However I am eagerly awaiting the announcement of the new In Wall SE versions to maximise the potential of the 218 and sales via the custom instalers.
The big question is will they have displays.

Just maybe Mtns is referring to Meridian and MQA as independent companies, just a thought... I was. On reflection I neglected to suggest that Roon/Tidal (2 other independent companies) might deserve some credit in the MQA implementation side of things.
