I never thought I'd see the day that I'd be watching "Netflix" Original Series on a regular basis, but here I am.

I kind of got there by accident, I got a new 4K OLED TV with built in Netflix. My daughter visited one day and added her account to the TV because she wanted me to see some series, which ended up not interesting me (Good Wife I think). Anyway I was thumbing through one day and I saw some series that won all these awards. It was "Breaking Bad", I was hooked immediately. After that marathon, it was like drugs, what else is there. Lot's.

I'm surprised there isn't a thread like this, so I figured I'd start one. The Video Quality is quite good tons of 4K (doesn't quite looks like 4K but certainly competes with Bluray). Audio quality isn't bad.

Some of the series I've really liked.

Breaking Bad (Violent, Hilarious and quite believable).
Better Call Saul ( Prequel to Breaking Bad ), I even paid for Season 2 on Amazon.
Black Mirror (each episode is independent, Season 1 episode 1 is pretty gross though, skip it and watch it later). Favorite is "San Junipero". Helps to watch this episode twice.

- Fiddler (IMHO)

If you think listening to music is fun, try learning an instrument.

I would recommend:

Sense8 - group of people around the world linked psychically

Velvet - Spanish soap opera set in a post-war Madrid fashion house, her ladyship loves it and so do I

Marco Polo - should really be called Genghis Khan

Narcos - Pablo Escobar, this is your life

Stranger Things - homage to 1980s sci-fi

iZombie - stupidly funny Zombie/medical examiner show

Black Sails - as per Vikings but with pirates and more pretty ladies

Outlander - pretty lady and burly bromancing Scots vs. the evil English

Bosch - tough LA cop solves crimes and listens to jazz on LP/valve audio system

Rogue - tough LA lady cop solves crimes

Lucifer - the devil helps tough LA lady cop solve crimes (yup really)

Preacher - the devil (I think) runs a church in Texas

All great suggestions, Breaking Bad is without doubt one of the best from the last few years. Just started watching Stranger Things and am impressed so far.

Suggestions from me in order of preference:

The Sopranos - the daddy

Six Feet Under - a few years old now but utterly mesmorising

House of Cards - do believe the hype

The Legacy - for me the best Scandi series so far

+1 for Bosch and Stranger Things. Both are great.
Taboo on BBC1 is also very good.
Westworld is also worth a watch.

Also from Amazon:

Turn, Washington's spies - rebellious colonials vs. evil English

The Man in the High Castle - pretty girl vs. Nazis, etc.

And from Netflix:

Jessica Jones - the best of the Marvel adaptations IMHO

Goliath - if you like law dramas this is pretty good, starring Billy Bob Thornton and William Hurt. On Amazon.
