I don't think that was what you asked, but yes you will need to go direct to your SEs if you want full MQA from the 218.

So if the 218 is in between the G65 and the speakers, do I not need to reprogram the G65/HD621?

But depending on how it's wired (series/parallel) you may need to reprogram the speakers and of course, the 218 will probably need doing.

Has anyone got hold of a 218 yet?

I am still confused as to where it fits in my system and it would take control and send audio to my speakers if insert it between my speakers and my G65. If I am watching TV, and have TV selected on my G65, how would I make the 218 become the primary source in this daisy chain arrangement and start playing MQA music.

It also appears there is not a serial input on the back of the 218 so how would you program it in the same way as you pass setup files to the G65 and HD621?

My understanding is that it will not be available until March, MI has posted some initial information on it here.

I am not sure if it will integrate with your G65 as the 218 is a Meridian Sooloos endpoint that also does MQA, of course until Meridian deign to discuss it with us everything is just speculation based on the scant information we currently have.

Can anyone now shed light on how we need to connect this 218?

If it sits between the front L R and the processor, do I need to make either FL or FL my master? I have my centre as my master currently. Do I need to reprogram G65 or HD621?

If it can sit between FL and FR and G65, how do I stop the G65 playing the TV for instance and start using the 218 to transmit to the FL and FR. My knowledge of setting up Meridian equipment is minimal.
