I use a DSP33 as a centre with 5000 L/R, DSP33 Rear's and a SW1600 and I'm very happy with it as a system. As mentioned in other posts though I have set it to small in mconfig and the system is all feed by a G61.

The horizontal centre 5000 is labelled DSP5000C, there's no such thing as a DSP5000HC.

I beg to differ. I have both DSP5000C and DSP5200HC. The DSP5200HC is a much more capable speaker. They use the same drivers, different DSP, different amplifiers, and the DSP5200HC has a bigger sturdier cabinet.

Cheers,
Jason

I was referring to a VERTICAL 5000 as a center would probably beat a 5200HC.

- Fiddler (IMHO)

If you think listening to music is fun, try learning an instrument.

OK fair enough. It would be an interesting test to put them up against each other I would think.

Cheers,
Jason.

Lounge: DSP5200SL (L-R), DSW, 218, Michell Tecnodec, G98DH, tape deck.

Shed: DSP3100HC mains with twin analogue subs, 568, MS200. This sounds waay better than it should.

Storage: Way too much Meridian stuff, but I'm culling.
