Not surprised by any of that. Never heard any difference in network cables, heard very large differences between MQA and CD quality files.

Did you try the different kinds of ethernet cables between the 818v3 and the master DSP8000, and between the speakers?
I have the same setup and found the Audioquest Diamond was a significant upgrade from Meridian's cable or standard CAT6 cables. But, as I understand it, the SpeakerLink system uses a different digital protocol than network connections.

Yes, the run from the endpoint to the DSPs (and between the M + S DSP if you don't use home run) is where you might hear a difference, as it's SPDIF over AES, not network packets). Since I've had M flat SL cable from the start I haven't got round to comparing anything yet, though.

Yes I run AQ Diamond on front DSP's. It is not network traffic.
DSP8000SE, DSP7200SEHC, DSP5200SE sides, DSP7200SE rears, 861v8, 210, Sim2 Ultranero 4, Stewart Cinecurve 2.35:1, XEIT CM-5E Anamorphic lens, Dune HD Duo Cinema 8K and Wireworld Platinum 48G HDMI -> UHD722 -> Shunyata Omega Ethernet. Shunyata/Furutech power-cables/filters. SR Master Fuse@861v8. Uptone Etherregen with 10MHz OCXO clock.
