Fleurie. Young american singer/songwriter. Quite evocative music. Excellent recording, production and dynamic range. Only complaint is its a touch toppy at times. 'Hurts Like Hell' is brilliant, really involving and immersive, almost haunting at the end.

For the Yes fans out there, Steve Wilson's remix work on Tales from Topographic Oceans came out yesterday. I got my copy and listened to the 5.1 LPCM mix from start to finish. I've been waiting many many years for the experience and it did not disappoint. The bass gets a little heavy now and then but it was a very satisfying experience.

B100dy H3ll ! The brand spanking new Leonard Cohen album is good. His lived through, grated voice sounds amazingly deep and dark. You want it Darker... Title song sound and recording quality is fantastic, 16/44 Tidal version. How good MQA version would be?

Why can't all music be recorded this well? I also recommend Ten New Songs, recorded when he was "a mere stripling". Marvellous stuff.

Agreed Technically nothing more to say other than creatively it is a more experienced and reflective album in the vein of "Songs of Love and Hate". Darker not so sure, need more listens! At 36:08 long, this takes me back to old Vinyl? Hector

The New Drive By Truckers Album-American Band is outstanding in its musicianship and current, topical story telling. Whether guitar rock or soulful ballads, there are no weak cuts.
