That sort of thing is special makes the recoding special too. A memory that lasts a lifetime.
We are lucky as (With Permission) we properly record and film all our gigs within our budget. This we give to the artists, mixed or unmixed to use as they wish. We also get our own precious recordings that would not exist otherwise capturing artists at a point in their development.

Again with consent, we put a few on YouTube which artists often use as promotion on Facebook Twitter etc.
Occasionally we speculatively pay to get a more professional mix for a limited CD/DVD release. (Our LRB white glove treatment)
We have had to take things down in the past as record companies don't want us to dilute their plans for a release. This was the case with Ward Thomas and Cartwheels. We recorded it first.
All the above fills a lot of hard drives. 32 GB per camera and we have 5 running often on top of the 32 available music channels that all need backing up too.

It makes you wonder the size of the Warner Music archive as they convert for MQA. That will be a labour of love that will take some time to see a return. They must be thinking long term on this.
All the above is only possible with small productions and so I appreciate that fans of many musc forms just cannot realistically get this fix. But a fix, it truly is........
