So they bring in a whole new 200 series line for custom multi-zone installations before updating the "mid-level" G series and AC/MS200 for MQA. It shows M's continuing disregard for the core enthusiasts Not just that, Ian, having a new 200 series really messes up Duncs' Meridian Info site.

I bet that means from an appropriate MQA source, not from Sooloos streaming.

I am told that if you have a 24/192 file the 218 will send out 24/192 from the SPDIF out. Whether or not it is MQA.

I'd be surprised if the SPDIF output had any form of encryption. Did you mean that output?

Could anything in the Meridian world accept decoded MQA on an SPDIF input?

Not if it's greater than 96KHz. Though there was talk that MHR would be able to transport it, which I believe is how it is transported using SpeakerLink from say 818.3 to SE DSP's.
