I think you're correct too! What I meant was that it's possible with the on-screen display to change the source to be one of the existing Meridian names (of which TV is one). You simply use the source "TV" and configure this rather than using the source "Aux".

If you want to change the name to say "Apple" then you need the config program.
I hope this clarifies things?!
