That outcome would be terrific but the cynic (or businessman) in me says no way.

The Guardian piece seems pretty logical and I imagine the only thing further from Tim Cook's mind than high res streaming is MQA if he is indeed looking at Tidal.

I agree with you. Exclusive releases are Tidal's biggest asset. Tidal disappears in to Apple Music and three quarters of my Sooloos library disappear with it.
