So in a twist and turn of life we have moved lock stock to the middle of Africa..! I'm pretty sure from M that I'm the only SE set up in Sub Saharan Africa although I believe SA is the closest. Anyway the set up moved from Oxfordshire to just outside Nairobi and picked up a puppy along the way who is addicted to music! And a slight aside there are two comparisons of the day we collected her age 3 months and last week age 5 months.....26kg! I actually think we've been sold a horse! Yeah the big wall cabinet was here before we moved in so not quite a flush - and a lot of digging to hide all the cables, but got there.
Still need to calibrate and get room correction sorted but in Africa it's "pole pole" which is "slowly slowly" in Swahili...

It is sir (nice to hear from you)  She's called Maya ... we just found out her grandfather is the largest ridgeback in East Africa - wouldn't have minded knowing that before taking her on board!!

Love the puppy !!!! We're getting there. This room is actually upstairs so feel for the guys who lifted it all up 2 flights of stairs!! They hoisted the sofa over the balcony but I didn't fancy that on the 8k's!, Mains is allegedly the same as the uk... when it's on. We have backup generator and "anti surge" and as recommended by M I haven't gone for additional, treatment on the system, every time it pops off I pray a little (about 5 or 6 times a week). I have however managed to blow one of my AD88's from power outages which is a bit annoying. The wall cabinet the guy had before us was just weird, he'd basically spent a fortune based on what someone told him and (as happens a lot here) it didn't really work when built. So that just stays. Some funny quirks here sometimes but after a bad week, heading to the bush and hanging out with elephant giraffes and lions certainly makes a bad day at the office diminish somewhat...
