I suppose the answer could be give them their dinner! But in this case I have a new setup DSP640s SpeakerLink, connected via AC12 box into the 511 patch box.

Everything works left right front, left right rears, except the 2 DSW1500 which have connected twice. Connection was lost to the subs due to accidentally switch off, doh!

I tested the connection with some DSP33s and got a result but not with the subs. Any advice would be very welcome.

You're a brave man testing subs at this time of night!

If the DSP33s worked when plugged into those cables then you know that the audio lead is working. From memory, they power up at 65 volume, so it doesn't necessarily prove that comms is. Did it respond to volume changes? I'm just wondering if subs power up to 0 instead (just a guess - it would seem safer). That could explain a lack of sound from them.

Any chance of wheeling your sub over to the DSP33 wires and trying it the other way round? A lack of sound there tells you that it's definitely the sub and not your processor or wiring. Hopefully just settings.

Oh - and if you've been power cycling speakers, then always put your system into standby, then back on, then wiggle the volume to sync all the speakers' volume levels.

Yes I did wheel it over to the rear 33s with no luck. I have also had just 1 sub running, which was second in the chain so the comms is passing the signal.
I'll try the volume wiggle today.
