How is the quality of the SPDIF cables? Good enough for a 861 or can they better be replaced by good quality cables?

For an 861 v6 or v8 you use a 1m SpeakerLink cable into the MMHR socket for earlier verions you use the blue SPDIF cables as there is no MMHR.

The SPDIF cables were very sought after. Much better quality than they might first appear.

They are extremely well made. The only thing I've found with them is that they fit very tightly - I'm always afraid of damaging the sockets when I connect them

The very latest Neutrik RCA's that are used have a new design of collet which is not so fierce, but grips well.
