Yes... I've just updated Tidal on my Mac Pro and Master is now an option in settings.
I do not have any MQA enabled kit (yet) but did download some music from 2L and streamed the same title from Tidal. (for an undecoded comparison) and yes when playing the MQA emblem replaces Hi-Fi in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
For those interested Enya's latest "Dark Sky Island" also appears to be MQA. Can anybody confirm if any of these light up the blue LED.
Just off to the Meridian shop to update my explorer (1)

This probably only applies to the MAC version as the Master option does not appear on a PC.

I can't get it on my Mac... Tried an uninstall and reinstall which didn't work, but I didn't manage to remove all of the settings. Am going to try again.
Edit: Nope, that didn't work.

+1 . Mine was a completely fresh install as I had never installed the desktop version before. Could the OP please provide links/ further explanation? Thanks.

This is also being discussed over on the Roon forum.
One user using the same Tidal Account, Identical Tidal Apps, Identical OSX versions and at the same location ... has Master on one but only HiFi on the other.
It's quite odd.

It could be Joel ... maybe Tidal's way of ramping up access to the files.
No official announcement from Tidal yet.

I typed too soon. Pål Bråtelund, Tidal Strategic Partner Manager, posted this over on Roon. Folks. To end speculation. This has nothing to do with territory or selection or any other magic. We have implemented the function to stream Master quality for the future with Exclusive Mode and WASAPI]. It shouldn't show unless you have a user that allows for it to show. Somehow, a campaign type that can be set on HiFi users opens this up - and that's an old fashioned bug. We wish it was clever marketing  Given how many times we have demoed this in public (two CESes, two Rocky Mountain Audio Fests and a High End show in Munich) it's no surprise that we're working on things. But this is not the roll out. It does sound good though!

Through a glitch... I and others are able to select "master" from within the Tidal app. (in settings) on my Mac. When playing a CD quality album the words "Hi-Fi" are displayed in the bottom right of the window (next to the volume) If you then play Enya, Hi-Fi is replaced with the words "MQA" the same thing is also displayed with a few other albums (the same ones on Tidal that I downloaded from 2L for comparison).
I don't have any MQA ready kit yet, so not sure if I am getting the full thing. But it certainly sounds amazing.
Hope that makes sense...There does not appear to be any other way of knowing if the album is MQA'd other than playing it.
Anybody else with updated firmware able to confirm if it is decoding to full MQA.
