I have not seen any statement saying DSP room correction is not physically possible or any other tweaks in the digital stream eg EBA. But practical implementation is another question and also where does "authenticated" stop and post processing tweaks start? Is it still MQA then? How do you maintain the authenticity with the added DSP? The signal is supposedly not to be messed with till the DAC chip ... end to end closed thing.

Interesting, I know I specifically asked 1 year ago about Trifield being able to use MQA material in full splendor.
I think that whatever the DSP chain must be verified to not truncate or impart any time smearing qualities.
From my viewpoint that would set a much needed new bar on the M room correction which IMHO imparts the presentation of the sound (flow and delicacy). I'm not talking about the bass tampering where some rooms desperately need taming. I'm talking about the algorithm/engine itself that just by being run-through detracts from the flow and delicacy and reverb in the midrange and high frequencies.

Interesting. Three products mentioned - the Explorer 2, the Prime amp and the 818v3. No mention of the first two being MQA compatible but the 818v3 description includes words to the effect that it "fully supports MQA". I wonder why the distinction. Also no mention of an MQA demonstration in the Meridian guff.

Has anyone found any MQA tracks/offerings on 7Digital?
I thought, starting Jan. 11, they were supposed to have "hundreds out of the gate" and "thousands in the first few months". I can't see anything yet. I have seen the offerings through 2L and Onkyo music, but that appears to be everything available at the present time. Nothing so far on HQM that I can find.
A decent and steadily growing software supply really is needed if MQA is to succeed. In the meantime, I will try to be patient and will appreciate any info on new sources that is posted on this forum.
Here's looking forward to Thursday's firmware release and hopefully, more titles to follow.
