For expensive 2 channel listening (Linn level ... smirk ), audition the 808v5 or 818v2 . IMHO, they really caught M. up. If you have analog speakers, then stump up for the 818v3 / 808v6.
Are you saying that Linn is better for two channel than the 818v2? (not saying that this isn't possible though, TBH, I reckon unlikely). Have you heard the v2 and v3 in both analogue and digital systems? Because it seem to me that you are suggesting that the v2 will do for digital, but get the v3 for analogue; which I don't believe is good or informed advice.
