How about a pearl or white satin finish?

My vote is for silver - I love this colour and can't believe M dropped it from their standard line of colours. I believe a fellow HH has a room of high end silver DSPs, including 8Ks at the front which look awesome. I think it's a colour that never looks old or out of place and definitely doesn't show the dust as much as black or the other shiny finishes.

That said I'm not sure what colour other than graphite would blend in with your centre frown. A tough problem indeed if you want a change!

As a final thought... if blue is leading then take a look at the liquid blue of the new 2016 Ford Focus RS demo model. It's an aggressive but sophisticated look - again gobsmacked that the manufacturer is not actually releasing it in this colour!

Happy choosing although I know if you're anything like me this decision will actually be driving you crazy!

It is my understanding the Ford RS is available in the new 'nitrous blue' at £745

Cheers

Nitrous but not liquid - liquid is the darker version... A pair of DSPs in this colour would make a seductive statement IMHO smile.

Strange, 4 pages and nobody mentions the graphite? The way they colour with their surrounding is stunning, and in the SE the clamp rings look great. At least the 5200's do, anyway. Just my 2cts

It looks pretty close to black in the darker room, I just showed a bright pic to show what it's like when the light catches. That was part of the thinking... "been in" when watching TV or listening to something in the evening, and a bit of a statement during the day...

There's a lot of pale natural colours around the walls and furnishings, personally for my room I think a darker colour would sit better...

...maybe I should change rooms!

Very interesting... I saw the McLaren Volcano Orange 5200SE's on a web site and I thought a pair of 8K's in that colour would look stunning. I'm just not sure I'm brave enough wink

I do think however that it the ultimate "statement piece" colour for 8k's!

Yes. I love the orange too, and I don't think I'd be brave enough to buy 8ks in that colour either. Maybe the 3200 for the bedroom!

Thanks, Edd

I agree very nice colour. If I had the option I would not go for black - too boring!

I think these would look staggering in an 8kSE...
