Have you seen the colour of the pair of 7200s Reuben has on eBay? Ipanema brown metallic, and stunning looking! My own preference would be Graphite, or failing that, standard Black. Mind you, it's clearly not impossible to have DSPs resprayed by the original finisher, so go for a statement colour now, and if the novelty wears off in a few years, you can make a new statement! Cheers George

Getting a pair of 5k's refinished was bad enough, getting a pair of 8k's refinished would logistically speaking be a RPITA.

Have you seen the colour of the pair of 7200s Reuben has on eBay? Ipanema brown metallic, and stunning looking! Yes I also think they're great colour! Mind you, it's clearly not impossible to have DSPs resprayed by the original finisher, so go for a statement colour now, and if the novelty wears off in a few years, you can make a new statement! I like that idea but with 8k's you do end up with a very expensive respray due to the complexity and number of boxes.... changing the colour of my centre may be easier or getting that centre cabinet to hide the HCSE

If you have a cricket ball on your left shoulder and a cricket ball on your right shoulder, what do you have on your head? . . . A very big cricket. Anyway: I think the volcanic orange and the ipanema brown are stunning. The latter looks like guitar wood. But I'd probably plump for graphite.
