Slightly confused. You have just sold your pair of 7200SEs, with the aim of going 8kSE. What is your question?

Colour is one thing, a home demo of the 8kSEs vs. your 7200SEs would have been advisable. Sorry, if that sounds a bit critical, but I have been advised that 7200SE can actually work better (are more forgiving) in typical British rooms than 8kSEs (which undoubtedly have the ultimate resolution).
But if your heart is set on 8kSEs, get yourself a
RAL colour wheel and have fun choosing.
