You just touch the pencil icon over on the top right, choose export (it should show your export destination) and then touch the image of the album you wish to export basically. I just picked the ones I wanted on each display page, set them exporting, then moved to the next page and selected more. Obviously it depends on exactly how much and what you're exporting as to the best method for you personally. I did have a problem because the export destination was on my NAS on the network and I'd left the computer running Control:PC on battery power so it went to sleep

Yes you're right, it is the easiest way to select your albums for export, but ... I still can't get anything to export to the named folder Meridian support have asked me to unplug everything from the router apart from my wired PC & MC200 connections then reboot both again? This takes me back to the original problem and my Bullguard antivirus having apoplexy every time I try to re-install Control:PC. This must be part of the problem still as others have suggested. The alternative is that I will have to find another PC/Laptop to try it on instead. What a massive PITA! RP

I have now tried via a different PC and it still doesn't work properly.
Possibly a stupid question but you can export tracks that have come from TIDAL rather than my own CDs I've uploaded? The only reason I ask is that I've just tried exporting the latter, despite the error message about the destination folder it does work!!
However, with any TIDAL albums I've noticed that the individual tracks do not appear in the export window which makes the mark or unmark check boxes pretty redundant, whilst if it's a CD I uploaded they do. Could this now be a TIDAL configuration problem/rule instead then or am I just being thick (or both).

For Tidal albums in your library, only the metadata place holder is exported ... the audio files themselves are not stored on your Sooloos system at all they are always streamed from Tidal.

Hi Carl
So I was just being thick. OK.
However, I've just noticed an 'Offline' option in the TIDAL Android app on my HTC one M9 phone. I have selected this option on various TIDAL albums and they appear to be 'downloading'.
Do you know if this will be the same re: the just being the metadata place holder etc.. or will this actually mean I can listen to these albums when I don't have a data signal on my phone??

It's not the same as Sooloos; Tidal supports 'offline' mode on mobile streaming devices such as phones so that the selected tracks can be played even when there is no signal. To enable this it has to download the [encrypted] tracks.

I've had my MC200 for a few years now and am yet to be able to export my collection, which I now really need to do for my wife and kids who are keen to play some music from their iPhone/ iPods.
I appear to have the same problem as described by RussellP, re I have created my own directory (in my case, it's on a NAS). I've configured this as the directory to use by iTunes and initially had a "unable to find iTunes library.xml" error when trying to point Sooloos export folder to it, but managed to resolve this.
I've tried setting this up a few times now and leaving for at least 24 hours after setting up, selecting an album and all the tracks for it using Control:Mac, then returned and still found no music exported. On some attempts, if I looked at the status on the export tab in Control:Mac, I could see a list of files that it had queued for exporting, but on some other attempts (like now), it is not even showing anything as being queued on the export tab, yet if I look at the album details for what I have selected for export I can still see all the tracks selected for export.
On my first few attempts, when creating the iTunes Library from Control:Mac, I did not select "Export All Solos Tracks and Playlists to this Repository", but on my last few attempts I have selected this option (in total I've probably had about 5 attempts this week, each time deleting the folders on my NAS and setting up again on NAS, iTunes and Control:Mac). On my latest attempt, I have the most progress so far in that after I created the iTunes Library on Control:Mac, it randomly exported an album from my collection, which I can now see on my NAS and in iTunes. However, it stopped after 1 and has done nothing since.
I came across this thread after revisiting Control:Mac this morning to find that I now have the error in export tab that is described at the start of this thread. I'm rebooting now, which I assume will get me past this error, but wondered if anyone else has some further advise re getting my collection exported to iTunes.

As expected, the reboot resolved the connection issue, but now I'm back to the no export activity.
When I started Control:Mac again, initially the iTunes Library I had set-up was not showing, but when I went to create it again it recognised that there was already one there and I opted to keep it.
Does anyone have ideas how I can get any and/ or all of my library exported?

Hi Dave,
When you created the export destination did you specify for it to export all albums?
If not, it's probably easiest to delete the destination in Control:Mac then recreat it, but this time tell it to startover from scratch and then select all albums for export.

Yes, this is what I have selected on my last few attempts, but still have not got more than 1 album exported and it stopped with no sign why (i.e. did not announce that it was stopping and is not continuing, has no errors).

I'm not sure if this is helpful if you are exporting to itunes, but I had a recent problem where nothing would export to a raid device, although it would go to a folder on the desktop (Mac). The problem turned out to be the the choice of export format in setting up the folder. It would not use "export format" but once I changed to "native format" everything worked perfectly, even thought the file formats that I was trying to use (FLAC) were identical.
