Thanks, but unfortunately this is happening while wired (the PC, not me).
It's got to be specific to my config. I just need to dig in this weekend. What switch and/or router do you have. A fancy managed/smart switch or something basic and dumb? If not latter, suggest hardwiring PC and Sooloos kit to a basic dumb switch and temporarily disabling incoming firewall on PC. Also, if it's a locked down corporate PC, all bets are off.

Worked great on my ID40... after I had shut down Roon Server, releasing the card.

The ability to update endpoints (independent of Sooloos hardware) is seriously good news and much appreciated.

Is there an updated QNAP Plug in? I'm running what I thought was the latest (2.477).
When I run the new v28 Sooloos configurer the Store is not in bold and indented and merely says "Non-Sooloos Storage". When I click on it it says "Nothing to configure".
It does this when my Control:10 is set to not core as well as to core.
Sadly the new Configuration programme still does not allow configuration of legacy products like the Sourse units, I haven't checked to see whether it can update them. I'll do a test on my Control:One later.
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

Control:One and old TwinStore both updated fine via the new Sooloos config app.

So it's the end of the road for the MC600. I know they stopped making it but its been for some from some of the partners for a while. Surprised to see they stopped support so quickly.
Primary: MD600, MS200 (SpeakerLink to AES), Trinnov ST-2, Ayre V6-xe, Salk SS8 3x LRC.
Secondary: MC600 (whole house).
Zone one: 568.2, G57, MS200, Spatial Hologram M2SE.

Why do you say they have stopped support for the MC600?
Does this new v28 not find it?

I just looked in the folder and see no update for MC600, which is essentially five endpoints? I will know later tonight, when I try to update my MC600.

I thought you might say that, those folders contain firmware for the standalone endpoints; for Core devices like C15, MC200, MC600 and MD600 they can update themselves directly.
