Agreed, but you still need a cable to attach them to - and shotgun twin and thin is nicer than two separate leads (IMO).

Dual RG-59 cable is available. While not as thin as the cable that Meridian uses, it is still a viable alternative. Also it fits within the spirit of the DIY theme of the thread and is much easier than soldering for the average person. A complete cable can be made in a minute or two.

I never suggested the thinner cable had to be soldered. You just need the right BNC connector and crimp tool - the process is identical.

I agree, sounds like a great solution. I went to liberty cable website and a search of even the part number shows no results. Can you point me to a site that carries these?
