What version of the iPad are you running? I have an iPad Air2 and it seems fine to me. I've spent many Sunday afternoons with it .. maybe that's long enough.

What audio end point are you using when making this comparison?
For me using an 861v6+ID40 I've not heard any differences between Roon and Sooloos.
