More than 8 speakers is basicly useless, unless you want to play the DVD-A titles from MDG.
Also you could play a few discs from Chesky and Telarc, but be prepared to move your height speakers around the room for that.

Hopefully Meridian will make it long lasting "promise" up and go to more than 8 channel support. (my almost 5 year old 861 had already labels for height channels included)
