So, everything is great . However, my ID41 is crashing and requires a power cycle everytime it does.
I was following the previous thread with regards to updating firmware, but is there a way to do it without a core? I am in a country that I won't get any support.

This is a big issue at the moment and the issue has been flagged to Meridian (don't hold your breath) there seems to be no defined position at this time. Currently your ID41 will only update if it is connected to an internet connected Sooloos Core, so you are going to need a friendly dealer, friendly HH, sorry to be the bearer of less than good news.
When(if) the QNAP core software is released, that will bring down the cost of a supported update solution to the cost of a suitable Intel QNAP (or access to someone with one).
