I guess it [analogue headphone amp] could be connected to the unused pair of analogue outputs.
Or a passive "T" switch used, f both the power amp and the headphone amp need the same input type (XLR, RCA).
Can't think of any more options.

Could one pair of the analog out be variable voltage (volume control) and the other pair fixed line level then problem solved. But that can't be configured?

On the 808v5 I think it is a user setting.

Just curious, have any 818v3 been spotted in the wild yet?
I guess I am trying to benchmark the 818v9 (I'm on v6) timelines against that of the 818v3.

What I meant was:
- I have an 861.6 and am interested in the 861v9.
- Meridian clearly indicated that the 818v3 will be released prior to the 861v9.
- I believe the 818v3 was set for 'spring' and the 861v9 for 'fall'.
- It is now 'summer', so I was curious about progress on the 818v3.

It is work in progress but if you want juicy info you are barking on the wrong tree/company which is pretty much tight lipped on everything else  You need to wait for the 'announcement' Regards, Kishore

I was told at a Meridian event on 21-June that the upgrades kits would be available for the 808's in August. I assume some of the others should be ready at that time to.
Until I see what MQA content is released I may hold off on doing anything.

Unfortunately, I had a conflict which prevented me from being able to attend the local MQA demo. I assume this is the session you refer to? If so (content availability aside), what were your impressions?
I'm in the same boat with regard to upgrading my 818.2.
