Is this update purely for the Tidal fix and is it therefore optional for non-Tidal users?
Any views on whether one should install it anyway?

It may have already been there before, however, just noticed that the debug screen now has 'Is Paired With Us' and 'Pairing' fields for each zone device.
If I select a zone with Roon with the Sooloos core still running, the Roon selected device disappears completely rather than the 'Is Paired With Us' field changing. I have not seen any data in the 'Pairing' field.
Is this new or have I just not seen it in the last couple of releases?

i dusted off my MD600 and turned it back on, imported last month's albums, found that the ControlMac import date bug had been fixed, the TIDAL connection working, Track 2 playing ... in short, a tremendous release! Congrats to the new bug maintenance team and QA dept. in turning around a bugfix release so quickly.

An additional thing that's improved is metadata retrieval for TIDAL albums I have added to my library. Previously, it was more miss than hit. After noticing that my newest additions had mostly complete metadata (looks like from AllMusic), I went back to my library's existing TIDAL albums and successfully retrieved metadata (via my C10 interface) that I was unable to retrieve (also via my C10 interface) before the latest update.

anyone having metadata issues.
I've just been trying a few updates as the metadata service does seem to be working better but a couple of things have happened....
1. Even when selecting the album artwork and clicking "update" sometimes it removes the existing album art but doesn't replace it, so it reverts back to the standard non album art pics, like the microphone or audio waveform pictures.
2. I've had a couple of "update metadata" which has firstly emptied the album who's metadata I was updating (it all goes blank), and then freezes my C15 so I need to do a hard reboot with the on / off switch...
Anyone else got these??
