There is some contradictory information in data sheets and wiki and elsewhere.

The DSP8000 is 3 1/2 way, or 4 way. The crossovers are described in different ways. The 8000 is sealed but the 7200 is described as "acoustic reflex" which term describes a ported speaker, but mine doesn't have any ports.
Ok, maybe not so important.

But I would really like to know how the 8000 handles its five channels. I was told that the three bass pairs are processed differently because of their different distances to the floor. But there are only four DACs. So is some of the different processing in the analog domain? If so, why four, why not three? Or are two pairs handled the same and only one pair is different?

And how is EBA processed? In three or four or five ranges?

I'm really curious. Don't really need to know, but I'm curious.
