I have bought a lot of his underground house stuff over the last few years and stumbled across this a couple of weeks ago, have loved the album and had it on repeat, and only clicked it was him the other day.
Modern, experimental classical is the best way to describe it.
A free album in celebration of Piano Day. 96/24 is available as well! It's very peaceful and relaxing to listen to. Mostly gentle piano underpinned by some big beefy bass at times. Beautifully recorded.

Saw Katzenjammer last night, fabulous set that seemed to go on forever (in a nice way). Even then they didn't play "To the sea". The Gabby Young Trio were a very good support act (no surprise) as well.
Can I suggest if you like live music that you get tickets for Katzenjammer's Shepherd's Bush Empire gig in November?

Today I saw a young lady called Anna Pancaldi perform three songs, she was amazing. I bought her EP 'Black Tears', it's on Tidal, and she is provisionally booked for an LRB set in August. She gigs around London, go see her and be amazed.
