Who loves not wine, woman and song,. He remains a fool his life
And very true....... Chris
No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone
In these times of uncertainty and speculation I have gone back to basics and am only spending money on music. After all this is the life blood of any system. .....

Are you sure Mrs Hector hasn't become better at detecting your illicit hardware purchases!! Or have you run out of space to put more stuff in!
From the comments I've read, I got the impression that an iOS App is not yet ready. Is that correct? If so, any rough timescales for probable availability?
861v4/ID40/LPS, HD621, Roon, BAT VK-600se, Impulse Ta'us. Director/Heed Canamp with HD600s.
I am heavily into the Meridian Sooloos world! My dilemma is that I'm running out of Hard drives. My question, would it be better for me to get a QNAP NAS or get the Roon app and access my current Synology NAS?

The QNAP NAS will allow you to choose going forwards between Sooloos and Roon. It will (subject to spec) also run the Sooloos Core as well.
Having switched to QNAP recently from ReadyNAS I've kept a foot in both camps by firing up the old ReadyNAS to export my Sooloos library to. This way I can let Roon manage the folders on it whilst leaving my Sooloos files untouched on the QNAP.
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.
