The NUC's run off 19V (other than the bottom end Celeron).

NUC Power supply internally is switch-mode (i.e. 19V external -> CPU / logic / USB / etc...) so feeding a switch-mode power supply from a linear supply wouldn't gain much since the supply closest to your end devices is still switched.
