I am puzzled as to why you wouldn't Rip or play music through Sooloos?
You can rip with dBpoweramp if you want to avoid the Sooloos way and playing music through Sooloos has always been easy.
No ripping is wasted if you already own the music, you just stream what you don't own in the future, although that is not without it's problems at the moment.
The new 'Roon' service will use your current rips very easily if that is the path you wish to follow.
All in all, it's a win win situation on that level.
Roon Intigration into Meridian equipment is the a only concern just now and I am confidant Meridian will have some solutions.
