Thanks for that, it would be nice if they would post on here and tell us themselves.

As you say it would be nice of Meridian would acknowledge the issues many have identified so far. The back-up, track 2 of Tidal not playing.....

I'm not sure I agree with the "very well integrated" bit. I find the Tidal search/explore archaic but when using the native Tidal apps I really like clicking on an artist and being offered other work by that artist. As it's included in native Tidal, I'm sure that it would be possible to include similar from the album screen in the Core Control app in parallel to the textual explore features which currently requires you to know fairly specifically (spelling variations included) what you are searching for. I think this would make a big difference to the Tidal experience to many.

I do use the Tidal app to look around and then Core Control to put it in the library. Once it's there it's easy to play. Still have the track 2 Bug though. Chris smile

I've had it confirmed that the backup via Control:Mac on v2.449 has a bug in it.

This makes Control:Mac crash if the backup has a Tidal link in it. This is only for Control:Mac, Control:PC should work fine.

It explains why I'm able to backup on Control:Mac if I select a tagged group, but not my entire library.

+1 on using the Tidal app to seek and select. I don't think we should expect the full Tidal Application to be taken over by the Sooloos App, just my opinion. (would be nice though.)

Mark it as favorite within the Tidal App and find it in your Sooloos Explore Tidal section to play it, or add to library, all via the convenience of your iPad. SooEasy.

I note some track skipping as well when playing, not always track 2 only but sometimes more tracks. Is that a Tidal glitch or a Sooloos one, who is able to answer?

Sound is great, a bit louder than normal rips. May be additional mastering or compression in streaming?

Has anyone analysed the Tidal stream e.g. with rip/analyse tool?

I'm curious. Who was your confirmer? (This inherent ambiguity is one of the reasons why my grammar teacher and every subsequent writing instructor beat on me to avoid using the passive voice.) (Not that has scarred me, or made me bitter, or anything like that. crazy)

Meridian directly. I've no reason to doubt them.

A new problem?

I tend to add Tidal albums to my library, because of the nice navigation, "other albums by this artist" etc. But I got some albums I didn't want, some Tidal favorites I already owned, some Tidal I subsequently bought, some Tidal that wouldn't play because Tidal says "the publisher disallows" (so why include them?).

Anyway, I deleted them. Consistently crashes the core. Both from Control:PC and Control:10.

It recovers in a minute, and the user interface shows "loading your library".

Hi Anders,

Yep, we have had it confirmed that when deleting Tidal albums the core crashes, I'm told Meridian are aware and working on it along with the Control:Mac / Tidal export issue.

Regards,
Carl
