Ultimately, I don't believe that Meridian is, or should be, in the business of selling PCs and NAS devices. Future customers going down the Roon route will, no doubt, have more cash available for buying Meridian endpoints (dream of a whole house M system becomes more of a reality) which, I think, is how it should be. Win-win for M and its customers.

Whither existing Sooloos 2.2 owners? Meridian has said that it will continue to support the existing hardware-based system, but I don't believe that that level of informal commitment is enough any more, when there is likely a viable, far cheaper, and probably better, alternative.

Gianni asked why anyone would now buy an MCx00, MD600, or C15. Why indeed (if not through ignorance)? IMO, Meridian needs to break with tradition and roadmap this one publicly.
