The 192k limitation on streaming Sooloos is, as far as I understand it, only via the Control:Web browser-based application.

One can access Control:PC (and I assume Control:Mac) wirelessly and get full-fat delivery.

It looks like the skipping of Track 2 after about 1 second of play is pretty common across the board. I hope we get a resolution pretty soon.

I have not been able to replicate Gumby's issue where it skips the next track after pausing playback. How long was your unit paused?

I haven't analyzed it rigorously, but it was long enough to wander around the house to attend to something or other, so somewhere in the 5-10 minute range. It happened at least twice, perhaps 3 times, all yesterday afternoon. It was the first time I'd spent time playing TIDAL tracks over Sooloos.

I have not noticed either this, or the "track 2" glitch, when streaming over my iFruit device, even at HIFI quality.

Perhaps a buffering glitch? I wonder how far ahead the current playlist is buffering. . .

Though skipping track two is common, the issue is not confined to track two. I've now had it randomly on various tracks with various albums

Similar thing happened to me when I played a classical work last night - skipped the second track of the work which was several tracks in from the start of the album.

As I listen mainly to complete works of classical music, I would need to see this fixed before I start paying 19.99/month...

This is clearly a glitch that I would think will be sorted in time, and it needs to be fixed on a premium service.
Thoughts, Chris smile

Besides the skipping of track 2 I wonder if some of the other "skipping" issues we think we are having is really music tracks that Tidal will not stream even though these tracks show up in the queue when you select an album.

Here is an example. I tired to play Natalie Merchants latest release via Tidal. All of the tracks (11) can be added to the queue but the only track that will play is "Giving Up Everything" (track 6). In Control Mac every other track has a pop up box noting "Failure to Playback From TIDAL- This track is unavailable for streaming"

Not to just pile on, but for the record, mine usually skips track two and other various tracks also.

I am running Tidal, on Sooloos only. Pick my music from my iPad, designate it a favorite, go to the C-15 and add it to my Library, and then play it.

I just tried to run a backup using Control:Mac, four times, and it crashed each time. I can't backup.

How disappointing.

My skipping is different to that. The track briefly starts, then skips on to the next. If I go back to the skipped track it plays fine.

The old mono bug has changed. Previously files that were mono played normal speed but stopped half way through.

Now the track plays double speed all the way through. Yay! crazy

Hey all,
When v449 became available, I had 2 messages visible in ControlPC. One about the upgrade and the other about the TIDAL trial.

Post update both messages have gone frown

Is there a way to get my TIDAL message back?
Is it required to get the 90 day trial? Or can I get a code/link/whatever for the trial in some other manner?

Many thanks!
Mark
