From Monday I will have a 501 and 555, my first steps into the world of Meridian will be complete. But what next?

Do I go the Gxx route or improve on my 5xx stuff? Or God forbid start saving for 8xx?

My listening future (and marriage) is in your hands.

Next, enjoy what you have and get a Sooloos source. MC200 would be a good place to start. 90 day free Tidal trial just now.

This will transform your listening. As Bob Stuart said to me once, "It's all about the music".

A cheaper option is to take the wife out to some great live gigs and instill the love of great music in her. That will make upgrades a whole lot easier...

Good luck, Chris smile

If this doesn't work a trade in for DSP's is your only option.

Are you sure?

It might depend on whether you like AC/DC. I can imagine it should be a great show though!
