Naught boy got caught!

Same thing happens with me, consistently. Delete TIDAL album from my Control:10, loses connection to my Ensembles, then reconnects. Bit of a pain; takes about 60 seconds for the reconnect.

I find I can edit Tidal albums. So for Jo Harman, Live at Hideaway I have added a review and credits, release year and label.
A long shot but would any of this find it's way back to Tidal for review and update in their systems?
This is all done on the iPad using the handy link to Sooloos programmed into the Core Control app.

I'm having problems exporting files in native format.

I've selected the export folder as usual, but when I select tracks nothing happens. In fact I cannot select the last track of an album as I can't quite tick the tickbox at the bottom of the window as it won't let me scroll down that far.

Anyone seeing any differences between volume levels when playing ripped tracks and TIDAL tracks? I'm seeing about a 10 dB gain with a TIDAL track as compared to a ripped track, which is huge. This becomes a problem when swimming collections of tracks from both sources.

I had an oddity yesterday, latest Core Control failed to connect to the Core even after repeated attempts. In the end, I closed the app on iPad and restarted. It was fine after that.

It was not network as a network scan from iPad showed all the expected packets and running the iPhone app, that immediately connected.

Plus, Core Control was setup to use the manual core IP address.

Apart from not being bitperfect If this is the case we will have clipping on some TIDAL tracks.

I thought I heard distorsion on some tracks but wrote it off to being mastered with distorsion as it was tracks from the what's new section in TIDAL.

Could we verify that TIDAL output is bitperfect or not? Any DTS tracks on TIDAL?

I've had that a couple of times. Only closing the app then reopening cures it. That's on both CC and Sooloos iPhone app.

There is a difference between streaming directly from the search results, and streaming albums that have been added to your library. Tidal albums and tracks that are not in the library, give an empty album details screen, although their artwork does pop up in the queue.

Once a Tidal album is added to the library, it shows up in the browse screens, and you'll also be able to see credits etc., if they are there.

Will "Add Album to My Library" download the album? I am quite new to MC200.

Like others mentioned, I also noticed that after deleting a Tidal download my Sooloos (MC200) restarts.

I wonder, does it download really as FLAC or is it a quicklink to Tidal?

The funny thing is that this album was not loaded properly into my library, despite album details were available on the iPad App and it looked like it was properly loaded. It stopped playing at track 2 and all other tracks didn't play either, they greyed out one after the other when i looked in the queue list.

Would loading into the library via the iPad App be the cause for the incomplete download and that this should be done via Control:PC / Control:Mac only?

As I don't see a progress sign either, I never know when a download is complete or not.

Everything else works good, this behaviour is not with every download so I am not unhappy but need assurance that this is correct behaviour of the App and Sooloos or not.

Can M or PP chip in?
