I noticed that when you download an album from Tidal you do not get reviews or credits. On credits I'm not sure if that happens with all albums or only sometimes.

Do you think the stopping on the second track may have something to do with stability of Internet connection, bandwidth, or latency?

Ok. So I was unlucky with my sample of downloads.

My hiccups are on downloaded albums, so Internet presumably isn't an issue there

You do get reviews if available although often the best music IMHO is often not reviewed by the mainstream. The undiscovered jewels, if you like. Example "The Redlands Palomino Company", coming to LRB soon. Chris smile

I'm streaming from Tidal now and when I tapped on the album art from the queue tab in Core Control it didn't go to the usual album detail page. It didn't do anything. Is that always the case?

I just tried it and it worked for me with a very slight delay. Using Core Control on iPad.

Here's what I see in the log when I delete an Album added to My Library from TIDAL and immediately after that. The delete request itself is all the way at the bottom.

The only file that actually existed before deleting, besides various jpg covers was:

0101298f796c871b6d46993f58b48d7dfa14.fse

Doesn't matter whether I delete it from Control:Mac or Core Control. After I delete the album Core Control and Control:Mac will both disconnect and reconnect.

I can't really tell yet which of those lines in the log (if any) tell us what is causing the disconnect to happen. I see many 404 Not Found responses, but the majority seem to be in response to requests unrelated to deleting the album.

*shrug*

When the dust settles a bit I will collect all my findings and report them to a dealer.

Just found out you can Tag Tidal albums from Core Control. Chris smile

2.2 installed with no trouble. I entered my existing Tidal account and password, told it to import my library, and the albums appeared in the display and played as usual. Sounds nice.

But then I did some search under Tidal in the Explore view, and I went directly to the Tidal apps and picked some albums and made them favorites and then in the iOS Core Control tried to import them. Didn't work anymore! Got a message "Album not ready to stream." Tried various things, nothing worked. Dang. Looked so good for a while.

Eventually I found out in the Tidal app that "the publisher does not allow those albums to be streamed." Or downloaded for offline either. So what are they for? Turns out, I happened to explore Kim Kashkashian and Eleni Karaindrou, just because I'm currently interesting in them, and those were problematic. Other stuff works fine.

(Although the error message in Sooloos was misleading...)

I also looked for a Tidal playlist, Audiostream DotW (Download of the Week). Explore/Tidal/Search/Playlists. Didn't find it. It does exist, the Tidal app found it.

Oh, well.
