I have an Air 2 running Core Control. The Air 2 was delivered with iOS 8. I updated my app from the app store tonight just expecting a bug fix. The icon for Core Control was instantly noticed as it has a CC in the upper left hand corner. Select something using Browse and the interface is different! Mostly a black and grey motif with what appears to be bigger album art.

I did not have time to play with it. Anyone else?

I'm seeing the same issues also.

I must admit I preferred the previous "light Style".

Maybe if I go over to the Dark side on HH forum view I will get used to the new colour scheme of the CC app! wink

I am finding the same issue with 'Pick Tracks' when using my iPad in landscape mode but not when in portrait mode.

I quite like the new scheme, maybe it is a heads up on the future Sooloos scheme?

How many times are people re-booting the systems for if they have problems?

I have 2 clients that have had systems now crash and one of them is a 5 hour drive away and remote log in is not working.

I think it is more a case of a structured power down and power up, rather than power cycling only the kit showing a problem.

Not so much a problem, however, I do notice that my system only shows an up time of 2 1/2 hours so it must have crashed/rebooted itself and recovered.

System seems to 'work' however something must be going on in the background as prior to recent firmware changes the system would stay up for 100+ days without rebooting.

In haste, right after updating to the new software, I had imported albums from Tidal. Later, I decided I wanted to get rid of them. There were quite a few of them and after deleting many of them I noticed that the core became unresponsive so I had to reboot. This happened several times.

Jack,

I've noticed the same thing. Deleting albums from your TIDAL library from within core control causes the core to at a minimum do a soft reset where you lose your queue and the iPad app has to reconnect. In debug I can see that the core is failing to delete a certain type of file which results in 404. I'll dig up the logs later.
