My Export function no longer works. I've rebooted, reinstalled, used PCs and Macs to no avail. I'll be calling Sooloos support on Monday morning.

Mine doesn't work either, but it didn't before the update. M were very fast to respond and help, but it seems to be a windows problem. I have tried un-installing Control:PC etc but nothing seems to help. I use Microsoft Security Essentials; I tried un-installing that and re-installing Control:PC without Microsoft Security Essentials but that didn't do it. I turned my firewall off but that didn't help, so I am stuck!
I have looked at all the correct check/ticked boxes in msconfig and my firewall settings etc but I can't find anything.

I also have just realized that the "Mark All" "Unmark All" button in the Export tab also don't work. I can manually select tracks from an album but this doesn't actually start anything.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem like PJT Vink here ever since I first initiated the update process yesterday.
The Ensemble and Control:PC are now running on 2.449, Control:10 however keeps rebooting over and over again.
When system starts everything looks normal, showing Loading, Loading please wait, screen calibration screen, message to please wait while update is being installed, then after a few seconds, a Windows XP logo becomes visible for about 0.5 seconds saying something like closing network connections and then C10 reboots.
When I pull the network cable on the C10 and reboot, I can access the device manager which states that C10 is still running on ?2.435?.
Pulling the network cable on Ensemble an rebooting C10, I get to the normal screen and get the flashing update again, but restarting the update doesn't help either. Anybody else having the same problems or even better a solution?
Thanks in advance
Norman

Try setting your C10 as core and then seeing if the update completes. Take the Ensemble off line briefly to do this if needed.

I did set C10 as core with Ensemble offline, system starting as normal, no screen mentioning update being installed during startup. No message about available update in messages. Checked device manager, C10 version 2.435, system build 1449.
As soon as I bring Ensemble back online, I get the flashing envelope on the C10 telling be about available update, but then the rebooting starts, as before over and over again.

Re do as Nick says, but be very patient. It may take a long time for C10 to pick up new software in its own right.

With the C10 as core and then Ensemble offline, running for over 24 hours since yesterday afternoon, still no update message

Hi,
Is the C10 registered with Meridian? Check on the info page.
If not then the update won't get pushed to it.

I cracked open my Control:10 and let it update from the MD600.
When I set the Control:10 to Core and take the MS600 offline the back up I was running still crashed Control:Mac. I was at least able to export with the Control:10 as Core though, which the MD600 wouldn't.
Not sure how I get a fresh update to run on my MD600.

If I read you quite literally you say you were running a backup at the same time as swapping cores on and off ? No surprise that a back up crashes. You should avoid doing any jobs at the same time as a system re-config.

Nick, I may be a Luddite, but I'm not that stupid.
Ran backup, crashed. Swapped Cores. Ran back up again, crashed again.
It will back up small focussed backups, but when I try an incremental back up of my entire library it crashes every time. It had been backing up fine on the latest update until a couple of days ago when the problems started.
I'm hoping that the restore I plan to my second Sooloos system goes OK.
