An aside: I currently have a 1 Mb connection that equates to 135kb/s and it really struggles to stream the music, this is indicative that by default on Sooloos it will always be playing the CD quality "HiFi" versions of all the music.
I tried through wifi on my phone and it will play fine in the non-HiFi mode but not hifi mode. If I switch to 4G on my phone it goes to hifi quality. I am getting fibre broadband today that I have been waiting for years for so a nice coincidence of timing.
Back on topic: One thing I have noticed so far is that the only music I have managed to play through my MC200 on Tidal was the 3 albums I automatically imported in Control:PC that I had starred through my mobile device. Nothing else I searched through my iPad would actually stream, just silence. But it can sometimes play a track that I imported when I signed into Tidal through Control:PC.
Shaun, in my experience, it is typically your firewall/anti-virus software that has simply blocked soolooshelper.exe and proabably a couple of other <Sooloos>.exe's.
Have look and reset to ALLOW or whatever your security app calls it.
I'm trying to install Control:Mac on a 2015 MacBook Pro. The install and launch fails and keeps repeating. I have rebooted MC200 and my MacBook Pro without success.
I had a very difficult time installing Control:Mac on my MackBook Air shortly after I purchased my MC200. To make a long story short there were hidden files left on my machine from an earlier attempt which could not be removed using the normal method of removing files. It was odd because I created a "visitor" account an it installed perfectly but not under my normal Admin account.
Working with my dealer and Meridian help in NY we finally were able to remove all the old files and the install went perfectly with no issues since.

I received an email from M - with advice how to get a voucher code and 30 minutes after the actual code - just a few hours after my request and just now signed up to Tidal.
After an easy set up, credit card or paypal required, I am enjoying my first album (Endless river Pink Floyd) on Sooloos from Tidal.
SQ is above my expectation but obviously this needs a bit more trial period. The album is loading in the meantime to my library which takes a while I notice.
Awaiting MQA now, eagerly, which I will hear first time on April 18th at the introduction event in Hilversum.
Well done Meridian for this freebee.
Cheers!

I have had a look and my firewall seems ok it's letting Sooloos through. My only anti virus is Microsoft security Essentials and I can't find anything there - sorry!

Hi
Did you make a note of what files were left and what was done to remove them, it would be useful information to have for others who may hit the same issue?
I was the third wheel between the tech at my dealer and Meridian. We added ApZapper to my machine to help but there were other changes made that I could not follow. I did e-mail some script output to Meridian that the local tech ran but it has too much of my laptop info to post.
If someone is having the same problem I suggest setting up a Guest Account on your machine and load Control:Mac there. If it loads properly then the issue is probably similar to mine and you have two choices, find a way to get rid of the left over files or use the Guest Account for Control:Mac.
Sorry I am not that technically capable to help.

Thanks for the update, it is usually not possible or practical to capture what is done by others but it was worth asking, glad you are up and running, that's the main thing.
Pleased to report Control:Mac install successful following tip about removing old files.
These are the actions I took
1. Moved old installation and all previous downloads to trash and deleted trash 2. Switched firewall off and deleted Sooloos files and rebooted MacBook 3. Opened the Sooloos Control:Web with browser 4. Clicked on Contro:Mac 5. Opened download 6. Doubled clicked on Control:Mac installer
Control:Mac installed and reloads after quit.
On checking Security and Privacy I note the deleted Sooloos files have not reappeared
Many thanks to all. I will report back if I experience further problems.
