Pleased to report Control:Mac install successful following tip about removing old files.

These are the actions I took

1. Moved old installation and all previous downloads to trash and deleted trash
2. Switched firewall off and deleted Sooloos files and rebooted MacBook
3. Opened the Sooloos Control:Web with browser
4. Clicked on Contro:Mac
5. Opened download
6. Doubled clicked on Control:Mac installer

Control:Mac installed and reloads after quit.

On checking Security and Privacy I note the deleted Sooloos files have not reappeared

Many thanks to all. I will report back if I experience further problems.
