I already have the trial and have been receiving normally on Laptop for a couple of weeks now. I guess Meridian marketing are going to register my existing code to make it work on Sooloos

I updated without problem. One mistake I made was to rush into Tidal and download all albums from two of my favorite artists. This took a long time as it downloaded albums where they played or wrote a song not just the ones they headlined. That sort messed up the system for a while as everything downloaded. Also it duplicated some of the albums that I already have. So that was a big mistake.
I also noticed that some artists are sorted by first name and some by last name. Not sure what that is about.

Update all went fine on C15 but lost the local Control:15 zone!
Any ideas how to get it back!

My experience with zone disappearance is usually resolved with full power reboot i.e. disconnect power entirely. It's quite common with end points MS200 and MS600 after updates.
Give it a try.

Hmm - already tried a warm boot; I'll try removing the power.
Only completixity really is the QNAP, but all the albums are recognised so don't think it is this.

My C10 keeps rebooting over and over again after I choose to update the system to 2.449. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix this problem?

I've just checked and mine is fine, I suggest power cycling the Core device.
Actually this advice is good for all post-update niggles prior to reporting them on here.
